GIS classes

     The course provided for participants, GIS knowledge and its application in natural resource management through specific lessons: i) coordinates system, ii) satellite image interpretation in mapping forest present, and iii) model building.
Through the first lesson, the participants have understood the main concepts of coordinates system by practicing on sample maps and maps from participants’ fieldwork. With the help of the three trainers, all problems which participants were facing have solved by smart solutions. So far, the participants were able to deal with the challenges on coordinates system in their maps and build up the tools to transfer data from different formats. The participants also have new ideas about transferring data from different sources to maximize using them
 The course is up-and-coming to help participants become more confident to complete their tasks well and support together in the work.
